Fairytale fashion isn't an easy thing to pull off, so you've got to give Mary Katrantzou credit for braving a territory that easily ends up looking like a Disney movie. Last season she took on Fantasia - this time, her childhood nostalgia hit an even higher note. "What would kids' crafts look like from a couture point of view?" Katrantzou reflected minutes before her show. She aced that notion in sequinned Lego block skirts, but her view of fashion through a child's eyes didn't stop there. "I'm an eighties baby," she noted, and her generation would easily relate to what she was about to show.
